Who processes your personal data??
The administrator of your personal data is the company DataBrothers s.r.o., with its registered office at Karla Engliše 3221/2, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague 5, IČO: 07080794, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague under sp. stamp C 294333 (hereinafter referred to as “administrator”).
When do we process your personal data?
We process your personal data only to the extent necessary and only on the condition that (a) we to whom you have given consent, (b) there is a legitimate interest of the parties, (c) which occurs within the scope of the fulfillment of contractual arrangements or (d) which occurs within the fulfillment of obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations.
We collect data about our existing clients with whom we have concluded a contract, but also about our potential clients who are interested in our offers or whom we have approached with an offer. We also process personal data that clients provide to us during registration and when purchasing a conference ticket. We primarily process personal data that is necessary for us to establish or maintain business relationships.
In particular, we process personal identification and address data, and contact data that you have provided to us, including bank details. For this purpose, we process e.g. your name, surname, title, date of birth (or social security number), address (permanent residence, possibly also contact, phone number, and email), invoicing details, and function or job position of the person authorized to represent the legal entity.
We do not process any special categories of personal data (sensitive data) or use personal data for automated decision-making, including profiling.
Our legitimate interests in the processing of personal data are, in particular, the development of business activities associated with the offer of our services and goods, i.e. the sending of business and informational messages drawing attention to the activities of our company, as well as the expanding range of services offered by our company and a legitimate interest in further economic development of our company.
We obtain data directly from you, as part of negotiations to establish a business or contractual relationship or as part of an ongoing business or contractual relationship (e.g. contracts, applications for conferences), and some data we also obtain from publicly available sources (registers, websites, social networks, media).
Who has access to your data?
Other entities (processors) who are our contractual partners and participate in our business activities may also have access to your personal data. These entities also guarantee the protection standards according to the GDPR and have concluded contracts for the protection of the personal data of our clients. Your personal data may be further shared with conference partners offering IT products and services. Further, only authorized persons of our company entrusted with the agenda related to the processing of personal data according to internal regulations have access to your personal data. We transfer data outside of our company only if you allow us to do so or if it is enshrined in law, or if it is necessary to ensure the service, and only if it is necessary for one of the purposes mentioned above (e.g. intermediaries for the sale of conference tickets, companies that deal with ticketing and payments or companies that provide mass e-mailing or customer communication services).
How do we protect personal data?
When processing personal data, we always proceed in such a way that all protection standards according to the GDPR are ensured and we always process all personal data with maximum emphasis on security.
We process personal data ourselves, or processors verified by us. We regularly train responsible persons on GDPR issues.
How long do we process personal data?
We process data provided on the basis of consent exclusively for the period of validity of this consent (the period is either specified directly in the wording of the consent or until you revoke it). We process the data provided as part of the performance of the contract for the period generally given by the relevant legal regulations, i.e. for the period necessary to ensure the legal claims arising from the contract, i.e. for the period until our mutual rights and obligations can become the subject of a legal dispute. We will keep personal data listed on documents for which the legal regulation stipulates a longer archiving period for the period specified by the legal regulation.
Your rights
It is your right to contact us at any time with any questions regarding the personal data we process. You can also request deletion or modification of data. You also have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data. You can also transfer the data processed by us to another data controller. You can also object to such processing of personal data. If an objection is raised to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will ensure that the personal data is no longer processed for these purposes. If you have given us explicit consent to processing, you can withdraw it at any time.
